Adobe Information On File Formats
Open the Photoshop application and open your file by going to "File" ► "Open."
or by using the shortcuts Ctrl + O
on PC and, on Mac, Command + O
Once you have opened up your image the next step you will need to do is go to "File" ► then click "Save As".
Or by using the shortcut tools Shift + Ctrl + S
on PC and, for Mac, Command + Ctrl + S
Once you have clicked this option or used the shortcut tools, a new window will appear.
By clicking "Save as the type" you will have a lot of different file formatting options at your disposal. Upon scrolling down you will find the option for "Photoshop PDF".
Once you have this option selected, click the "Save" button on the bottom right to finish your selection.
Once clicked, Photoshop will bring up another window for options available for your PDF.
From here, the only setting you will need to change will be in the compatibility section. Be sure to change it to what version you have of Acrobat.
For example, I have Adobe Acrobat Version 22.0 so I would want the highest compatibility available.
Most likely, you will have the most updated version of Adobe Acrobat and would want to select the latest version.
If you are having issues converting your image to a pdf this way,
You can always check what version you're using by going on the creative cloud App
and clicking "Adobe Acrobat".
After that, you will be able to locate what version you will need to use by going to the bottom right-hand section of the window.
After you have selected the correct version for the Adobe Acrobat, you will simply click "Save PDF" at the bottom of the page to finish converting the image into a PDF.
If this pop-up arises just select "Yes". The goal is to have a PDF for printing, not to edit afterward.
PLEASE only use this option for confidential documents and you MUST send the password for access if you plan on having them printed.
If we cannot access your file due to security permissions or passwords then we will not be able to print your document.

To begin adding in a password for your newly made PDF document you will need to follow the instructions above. Once you reach the save Adobe PDF Present window, you will then need to click the security section on the left side; you will also have the option to create limited permissions.
Feel free to read the permissions section carefully before selecting that section.
After you have set your password another window will appear for confirmation.
Be sure to use the password you just created.
Download Options For Non-Premium Members
Download Options For Premium Members
Once you are done editing your Canva document, It's time to save it and begin converting your document to a PDF for easy printing.
Located in the top right of Canva you will see a sharing option. Once you select that option you will see plenty of different choices.
Out of all of the options, the one we will be selecting will be the "Download" option.
Once you click this option a drop-down menu will appear with options for what kind of format you would like to save your file to.
For this tutorial, we will be focused on converting our Canva document into a PDF file, but keep in mind that the Printshop takes a wide variety of printing formats Canva also has, such as JPGs and PNGS.
Once you click the drop-down for the file type you will find the options for PDFs available for selection.
Because we will be using this PDF for printing, select the "PDF Print" option,
as "PDF Standard" may lower the quality of your PDF for printing and will not give you options for changing the color mode.
Once you click the "PDF for Printing" option, the settings shown above will appear. Please leave them unchecked as our printers can do bleeds and crops on their own and flatting the PDF runs the risk of losing quality.
Feel free to click the option to "save the download settings" as this will be the first option to appear if you click the "Download" button.
For some reason, download options are different for premium members so clicking the "PDF to Print" button pop up will have different options than above.
Please also note that if you have a document with multiple pages you will have the option for both premium and non-members to adjust as needed.
For the download options, the same applies to the premium; please do not use the flatten PDF option or crop marks as bleed.
Please do, however, select "Color Space" ► and change the color space to CMYK for easy printing.
Once you have finished adjusting your settings and you have clicked the download button, your document will be processed and ready to be set out for printing!
Converting a Microsoft Word document or (.docx) into a PDF is pretty simple and there are multiple ways to do so for ease of access.
The first thing you will need to is open up your Microsoft Word document and make sure you will have no special permissions preventing you from opening the document.
Once you do so, make sure to click the file tab on the left hand corner of the screen.
Upon clicking that option it will take you to another section in Microsoft word.
Once you see the drop down all you simply need to do is click "Save As Adobe PDF".
Select where you would like your file to be placed/ rename your document if needed and you are done!
In this tutorial follow the same instructions listed above; only this time, instead of clicking "Save As" and then "Save As Adobe PDF," please click the "Save As" option above it.
Upon clicking that you will see another page with a wide range of different options. Underneath the downloads section you will see a section that says Microsoft Word Document.
Click the drop down and, by doing so, you will see plenty of options for saving your Microsoft Word or (.docx) File.
Upon scrolling down you will see the PDF option and select it.
Once you select "PDF" you will have the option to rename your file in the section above.
If you do not need to name your file, or once you are done renaming your file, simply click the save icon.
Well you're in luck!
