School of Education Resource Center: Policies

Checkout periods vary according to the type of item you are checking out. Juvenile books can be checked out for 28 days and renewed up to 3 times. The following chart shows checkout periods for all types of items in the resource center:

Please keep in mind that you can see what you've checked out, renew eligible items, place holds and view the status of holds online via your library account.

Items placed on reserve by education professors will be held behind the circulation desk at Smith Library unless otherwise requested. This is so that access to reserve items will be available to students 24/7 during the semester. To look up materials on reserve, click here.
