There are many resources that you can use to locate numerical data about the condition of the economy or how well an industry group is performing. Here are some resources that either provide that type of content or a narrative about economic conditions.

The Statistical Abstracts of the United States were compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau, and represents a collection of statistics on the social, political, and economic organization of the United States. ProQuest offers the most recent editions of the Statistical Abstracts.

- Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of LaborThe BLS is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.

If you would like to know how the economy is doing then this resource can provide that type of data and it does it in an easy to read format. It is a publication of the Federal Reserve.
