The World Bank Data
The World Bank provides free and open access to a comprehensive set of data about development in countries around the globe.
IMF Data Mapper
The International Monetary Fund Data Mapper lets you visualize data from some of the IMF’s major sources, including World Economic Outlook, Balance of Payment Statistics, Government Finance Statistics, AFR Regional Economic Outlook, and Joint IMF-OECD Statistics. You can choose from around 80 different indicators, such as GDP, inflation rate or unemployment rate.

The IDRC allows researchers to browse the data collected by the ICPSR (Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research) by Subject Terms, Series Data, or Geography.

Pew Global Attitudes Project
Conducts public opinion surveys around the world on a broad array of subjects ranging from people’s assessments of their own lives to their views about the current state of the world and important issues of the day. More than 240,000 interviews in 57 countries have been conducted as part of the project’s work.
