The West Academic Study Aids Collection provides students (and faculty/staff) with access to eBooks, audiobooks, and video content. Some of the frequently-used series that are availble as eBooks include:
Access all of the resources in the West Academic Study Aids Collection, and create annotations, save favorites, download titles, and more, by creating an account affiliated with Kahn Law Library.
Once you have verified your email address, you can access all the content available in your subscription and log in off campus.
Below the search bar on the home page, there are a series of ways to access the available eBooks. Select "1L Subjects" or "2L/3L Subjects" for course subject areas. Select "Academic/Career Success" to see support materials for academic success, bar exam prep, or career success. "Content Type" will show types of eBooks as well as content like audiobooks and video. Choose "Series" to choose from types of study aids, like Nutshells or Exam Pro guides.

To find eBooks by a specific author or topic, or if you know the title, use the search bar at the top of the page. Clicking on "Search Tips" under the search bar will help you with advanced keyword searching.
Titles in the West Academic Study Aids Collection are available for offline reading in the VitalSource Bookshelf app. The VitalSource Bookshelf app is available through the Apple Store for iOS devices or the Google Play Store for Android devices. Download the West Academic Audio app to listen to audiobooks and lectures offline.
When eBooks are open in the Vital Source ereader, you can select text to highlight, make notes, or create flash cards. These will be saved in your Vital Source account for future reading.

When an eBook is open in the Vital Source ereader, you can click on the menu under the three dots in the upper right hand corner, then click on "Read Aloud" to start screen reading and hear the resource out loud.
