DMS Module Series -- Navigating HPU Libraries: Part 1

Welcome to the DMS Module Series - a three-part teaching series designed to develop research skills relevant to the Doctor of Medical Sciences program.

Part 1 is an orientation & overview of how HPU Libraries is structured to support your field of study.

Review each of the pages tabbed along the top, as well as their corresponding CHECKPOINTs. By the time you have finished this module, you should have the following competencies:

• Be able to effectively access and save library materials.
• Know where to find all of the library's database collections for the health sciences.
• Understand how to efficiently navigate a library database.
• Know how to place interlibrary loan requests for books and articles.
• Be able to schedule an appointment with your library subject specialist.
