Librarians do not have to be onsite to provide any of these research services.
Library provided research and user guides are established for many classes to help students find appropriate content. These “libguides” are kept up to date by the library staff and are modified as changes in projects and course content becomes evident.
Library workshops or classroom research sessions can be taught using Blackboard Collaborate.
We keep an Ask a Librarian page current, or contact us through your preferred means below.
Chat With Us
We provide 24/7 chat to assist students with projects and answer reference questions. Via the library webpages students can chat with a librarian whenever you need help!
You should see our chat widget on all of our research guides at the bottom right corner of your screen. If you're having trouble with the widget, you can click this link to open a chat box in a new window.
E-mail, Text or Call Us
Research requests are also handled via email (reference@ or personal staff emails) and of course by telephone.

Make an Appointment to Meet (Virtually)
Students, faculty and staff can make a reference appointment via the scheduler. These links can be found on most library and database pages.
We can provide reference services for students who are not on campus via phone or a screen sharing program provided by IT. A librarian can share their screen with a patron to help them with a search or other reference query.
Just be sure to indicate that you want to meet virtually when you fill out the request form.
