Journals and Newspapers

American business is a rapidly changing environment. For example, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of company A may be the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Company B the following month. It is necessary to keep abreast of changes in the industry or company you are researching.

Bloomberg Law, Lexis+ and Westlaw each have news areas that include business news, magazines, etc.

Major Business Newspapers & Magazines include:

  • Barron's 
  • Chicago Tribune
  • The Economist
  • The Financial Times  
  • Los Angeles Times 
  • ProQuest One Business (fka ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry) - provides critical information about companies, product and executives and allows users to leverage company-specific and/or industry-specific reports
  • New York Times
  • The Wall Street Journal
  • Washington Post
