What is Data Visualization?
Data Visualization can include many concepts, formats, and theories especially considering it’s a simultaneously trending and expanding subject. However, generally, data visualization is a way of presenting data in any visual format including charts, graphs, maps, tables, graphics, etc. in order to tell a story. Many free and subscription-based tools are available for multiple skill levels as well as tutorials to get you started using your tool of choice. Tools are typically specific to your needs, e.g. numeric only, geospatial, data coding, scientific.

- Google Data StudioOutside of Google Sheets, Google offers a standalone data visualization tool with a large variety of available visualization styles.
Canva

A free resource for creating all sorts of visuals from infographics to social media posts to animated presentations. Includes a database of free (no copyright) images as well as a paid/pro version with greater access. You can create a team and collaborate on the same file with your group members.
