CSE (Council of Science Editors) Citation Guide: Home

What is CSE?

CSE stands for Council of Science Editors. CSE Style is a citation and formatting style for research papers primarily used in the medical sciences. 

There are three documentation systems for CSE style:

  • Citation-sequence system
  • Citation-name system
  • Name-year system
