HPU Film Collection: Film Reserves

Course Reserves and DVDs:

HPU faculty can put phsyical and streaming films on reserve for students.  If you are a professor who would like to put films on reserve for a class, please email the Media & Digital Resource Librarian at media@highpoint.edu with the title of the film and the name of the class.

To see the availability of DVD reserves, please browse the High Point University Course Reserves. From there you can search for the title of the DVD on reserve OR the class professor's name OR for the name of the class. Once you have found the reserve item, you can see the availibility by clicking on the catalog entry. HPU Libraries has a subscrtion to Swank streaming videos.  Digital Campus by Swank Motion Pictures allows students the flexibility to legally view course-assigned films outside the classroom. Providing digital access to course-related films allows educators to enhance the learning experience without taking up valuable class time.

We have exclusive distribution of thousands of films, making us the largest repository of digital film content to complement the curriculum of any course.

HPU has subscriptions to many different video streaming resources.  There are also many free streaming resources online.  These resources can many times be embedded in presentations or Blackboard classes.
